Male Stripper Gets Prison Term For Stabbing Man Five Times

A male stripper from Spokane will spend three to eight years behind bars for stabbing another man, a judge ordered.

Police arrested Kenneth R. Garrett, 25, last October for stabbing Chad Borgman five times in the chest and leg.

Garrett was one of several strippers who performed at the Gem State Club in St. Maries.

On the night of the stabbing, he showed the other strippers a knife with a 6-inch blade and told them to watch his back because he thought something might happen, the police report stated.

Borgman was later stabbed when he and Garrett got into a fight. Borgman was treated at the hospital and released.

Garrett was convicted of aggravated assault. Earlier this month, Judge Craig Kosonen sentenced him to eight years in prison, according to the Benewah County prosecutor’s office.

Garrett will be eligible for parole in three years.
