Coeur d’Alene Police

Thomas Frey reported Monday the $1,150 theft of tools from his business, Frey Dock and Barge Inc., 4901 W. Industrial Ave.

James Edgerton reported Monday the $700 theft of a guitar and a flute from his Toyota Camry parked in his garage in the 500 block of Indiana.

Charles Mehalechko reported Monday the $800 theft of golf clubs and the bag they were in from his car while parked at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.

Kootenai County Sheriff

Robert Brown reported Saturday the $1,165 theft of motor repair manuals and miscellaneous items from his storage unit at Budget Storage, Hayden.

Joseph Mueler reported Monday $500 damage to a front-end loader belonging to Worley Highway Dist. Someone shot a window out of it while it was parked at Cave Bay Road, near Worley.

Lin Rimple reported Friday the $3,200 theft of parts and accessories from a Chevy truck while it was parked in the 6200 block of N. Scarcello Road, Rathdrum.

Shoshone County Sheriff

Officers charged two men with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver, and illegal drug trafficking last week. Mark S. Morse, 35, of Ritzville, Wash. and Mike A. Schadler, 33, of Airway Heights, Wash., had parked their car in the middle of a Silverton street and gone to sleep in it, a Silverton resident reported. Upon investigation, deputies discovered about $6,000 worth of methamphetamine in the car. Morse and Schadler were arrested without incident.
