Summer Classes Offered By School District, Skills Center

A variety of summer school classes will be offered this year by the Spokane School District. Registration will be held during May at all schools.

Classes in basic subjects, athletic camps, an arts program and driver’s education will be offered. Classes require a fee and are not restricted to district residents.

In addition, the Spokane Skills Center will offer free classes in auto maintenance, broadcasting, chef training, commercial art, cosmetology, dental careers and other vocations to area students who have completed eighth grade.

Registration for Skills Center summer classes will be May 16, 17, 23 and 24 at the center, 4141 N. Regal.
