The father of a Skyline High School student got more than he bargained for this week when he took his son’s science project to school.
The 20-inch plant sat on a secretary’s desk in the main office for a while. But a science teacher came by and notified the secretary it was a marijuana plant.
“It was kind of funny to begin with,” Skyline Principal Louis Gourley said. “She didn’t know it from Adam.”
The secretary promptly hid the plant. “She was embarrassed to say the least,” he said. Police are reviewing the case for possible charges.
