Pbs To License Use Of Network Logo
The PBS logo, long familiar on the nation’s TV screens, will soon be cropping up on toys and books.
Under an agreement announced Thursday with United Media Licensing, the “P-Man” design and other Public Broadcasting Service trademarks will adorn selected children’s products as soon as next year.
PBS President Ervin S. Duggan said PBS logos will be licensed only to products consistent with the network’s own educational and programming standards.
