Lincoln County Man Dies In Wreck

From Staff Reports

A 27-year-old man died after he lost control of his car and drove off a Lincoln County road late Thursday, authorities said.

Scott D. Eads, of the Davenport area, died at the scene of the accident of head and internal injuries, the Washington State Patrol said.

A passenger in his car, Donald M. Johnsen, 39, of Greenacres, was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was treated for cuts, scrapes and lower back pain, the state patrol said.

Eads was driving north on Miles Creston Road when he missed a curve to the right and went off the left side of the road about 20 miles northwest of Davenport, the state patrol said. The 1978 two-door Honda rolled twice before landing on its passenger side.

Neither man was wearing seat belts, the state patrol said.
