March In Capital Turns Deadly

TUESDAY, AUG. 1, 1995

At least seven people were killed and a dozen others injured during an anti-government demonstration in Kinshasa during the weekend, authorities said.

The Zairian Association for Human Rights said 10 people were killed and 30 injured when about 2,000 people marched to the parliament building in the capital of the Central African nation on Saturday.
