Compiled From Wire Services

Hall of Fame baseball pitcher Early Wynn was released from the hospital a day after complaining of chest pains.

Wynn, 75, felt discomfort in his chest toward the end of Sunday’s induction ceremonies, held outdoors in near 90-degree heat. He was taken to Bassett Hospital, where he spent the night for observation.
