Green Bluff Growers Begin Peach Harvest

Green Bluff orchards north of Spokane have begun to harvest early peaches, orchardist Mark Morrell said Thursday.

The U-pick fruit, which will sell for 45 cents to 50 cents a pound, depending on the grower, is unusually large thanks to timely rains in June, Morrell said.
