3 Restaurant Workers Slain; Co-Worker Held

Three workers were slain Friday at a Capitol Hill McDonald’s restaurant. A 27-year-old employee of the restaurant was charged in the robbery-killings.

The bodies of two men and a woman who had been shot in the head were found in the restaurant’s freezer about 2:45 a.m.

Kenneth Joel Marshall was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Friday after leading police on a short foot chase.

Police identified the victims as Lillian Jackson, 49; Kevin Workman, 23; and Marvin Peay Jr., 18. All three lived in Washington.
