Reardan High Graduate Graham Replaces Redden At Cwu

John Graham, 26, a Reardan High School graduate, has been selected to be an assistant football coach at Central Washington University, replacing Rick Redden, who resigned Wednesday to accept a similar position at Eastern Washington University.

Graham, a 1992 graduate of CWU, will coach defensive backs. He also replaces Redden as director of athletic promotions.

Redden was CWU’s defensive coordinator. Head coach Jeff Zenisek will assume those duties.

Graham has been the head football and assistant basketball and track and field coach at DeSales High School in Walla Walla. Graham was an assistant coach for one year at Kent-Meridian High School prior to joining the DeSales staff.

Graham is a 1987 graduate of Reardan High where he earned letters in four sports. He was a threetime all-league linebacker and twotime all-league quarterback.

He then played two seasons at Walla Walla Community College and two at CWU. In his senior season at CWU, Graham intercepted three passes and had 30 tackles.
