Peggy Sawicki Chosen Realtor Of The Year

Peggy Sawicki, of Acuff Northwest Inc. is the 1995 Realtor of the Year for the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors. Sawicki is president-elect of the association, chairman of its programs and ElderHelp committees, and a member of the membership, building and affiliate committees. The award is sponsored by the Idaho Association of Realtors and local associations of state Realtors.

Marine Pfc. Angela K. Harris, daughter of George Harris of Bonners Ferry, recently completed the 11-week training to earn the title Marine and was promoted to her current rank. Harris is a 1993 graduate of Inglemoor High School in Bothell, Wash.

Pamela M. Pratt, principal at Dalton Gardens Elementary in Coeur d’Alene, was named the National Distinguished Principal for the state of Idaho for 1995-96. Pratt has been principal at Dalton for four years. Her slogan is “Unlock your potential to be the best that you can be.” She was presented with a picture/plaque signed by her students and engraved with her slogan.

Patrick Rolland, Coeur d’Alene, was named to Seattle University’s Dean’s List for spring quarter. Rolland, who will be a junior in the fall, is majoring in English and is enrolled in the creative writing program.

Julie Schaeffner, night auditor for Best Western Templin’s Resort, was recently named Employee of the Month. Schaeffner has worked with Templin’s since 1990.

Ellen Clark is a recent Employee of the Month for Kootenai Medical Center. Clark is a registered respiratory therapist with the cardiopulmonary department and is also a certified pulmonary function technologist. She has worked at the medical center for five years.

Allison McClintick, Coeur d’Alene, has been appointed by Gov. Phil Batt to a full term on the Idaho Humanities Council. McClintick graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in art education. She taught several years before she became a real estate agent with John Beutler and Associates in Coeur d’Alene.
