Sentencing Set For Young Rapist
Dylan Boggs, 16, of Metaline Falls, Wash., is to be sentenced next Thursday for raping a girl twice in 1994 when she was 10 years old.
Boggs was convicted earlier this week of two counts of first-degree child rape involving a relative he was baby-sitting.
“There could have been five or six occurrences,” Deputy Pend Oreille County Prosecutor Greg Hicks said.
Hicks said Boggs walked away from a sex-offender counseling program three times before he was taken to trial.
Boggs faces a maximum penalty of approximately 10 to 13 months in detention.
