Four North Idahoans Injured In Crash

From Staff And Wire Reports

Four North Idaho residents were injured Friday night in a two-car wreck near Pasco, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Michael Card, Martha and Brianna Whalen, all of Kellogg, and David Cesarini of Post Falls were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Pasco following the wreck on U.S. Highway 395.

Card, 18, Cesarini, 19, and Brianna Whalen, 2, suffered bumps and bruises

when the 1986 Mercury station wagon they were in collided with a car being driven by a Nebraska man.

Martha Whalen, 22, was treated for cuts to her face.

All were wearing seat belts.

A patrol dispatcher said Norbert Olberding of Randolph, Neb., pulled onto Highway 395 in front of the station wagon driven by Card about 8:15 p.m., causing the wreck.

Olberding and four passengers in his car were injured as well, one of them seriously when he was ejected from the 1992 Oldsmobile.
