Victims Of Triple-Fatal Accident Identified

The Kitsap County coroner’s office has released the names of a Port Orchard woman and her two children who were killed when their pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer rig.

The woman was identified as Lovina Putney, 25, and her children, Justin, 8, and Renee, 6, Deputy Coroner Greg Sandstrom said Friday.

The Washington State Patrol said the collision between the Putney pickup and the tractor-trailer occurred Wednesday evening on Washington 166.

The driver of the big truck, David Steele, 29, of Wyoming was not hurt, the State Patrol said.
