Gunman Robs Gas Station Clerk

A gunman in his 50s robbed a gas station clerk in north Spokane Tuesday night before leaving in a waiting car.

No one was injured in the 8:50 p.m. robbery at Holiday Companies Inc., 9720 N. Division, said Spokane Police Sgt. Gene Ziegler.

The robber, who displayed a small handgun, is described as white, 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with blond, collar-length hair. He wore sunglasses, a ski mask, a blue coat with red and white stripes and dark jeans.

The driver of the getaway car is described as a white man in his 50s wearing a dark baseball cap. He drove a blue Pontiac or Chevrolet.
