Olivetti Reaches Deal With Interwest

From Staff And Wire Reports

Olivetti North America has signed a contract with InterWest Bank of Oak Harbor, Wash., to provide monitoring and maintenance services for the bank’s computer network.

The bank has 29 branches connected through the network.

Remote network monitoring will be provided through Olivetti’s Network Control Center in Liberty Lake.

“Olivetti’s strategy for bank automation provides our bank with a single point of contact for system management, monitoring and problem resolution for software, hardware or the network,” said Clark Donnell, chief administrative officer of InterWest. “This will enhance the effectiveness of our current system, while helping to keep our operating costs down.”

The companies did not disclose the value of the contract.

Headquartered in Spokane County, Olivetti North America is a leading supplier of banking automation software, equipment and support to the financial services industry.
