Classes Help With Deputy Sheriff Test

Classes designed to help people pass the civil service test for deputy sheriff are being offered this month in the Spokane Valley.

The class will be held Thursday and will be repeated on Aug. 31 at the SCOPE University sheriff’s substation at 15th and University. The two-hour class begins at 7 p.m. both days.

The class is aimed primarily at women and minorities but is open to anyone who has registered to take the deputy’s exam in September, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said. For registration information, call 456-4711. , DataTimes
