Traffic Delays Likely On Sandpoint Streets

The final steps of resurfacing downtown Sandpoint streets began Friday night, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Short traffic delays may occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m for the next two to three nights along First and Pine to First and Cedar, Fifth and Cedar to Fifth and Pine, and back to First and Pine.

Parking will not be permitted while crews are working.

The $463,000 project is expected to be done before Sept. 30, the original completion date.
