Great Bag For Runners

Michael Hodgson Special To Outdoors

Product: Runner’s Sport Bag

Description: A 22-inch by 10-inch by 11-inch in the small and 26-inch by 12-inch by 13-inch in the large sportbag made of nylon and nylon mesh. Available in blue, purple or green.

Pro: Mesh ventilation panels are thoughtfully located so that the end pocket, the shoe storage compartment and even the main compartment remain airy. The shoe compartment is reinforced with a plastic board which adds essential support to the bag and prevents flop and sag when a pair of wet or grimy shoes is placed inside. In addition, the compartment is thoughtfully contoured to mimic the shape of a pair of running shoes - lower at the toe area and higher in the heel. The main compartment features storage pockets along its side for tape, sports cream, sunscreen and more. Outside “wet” pocket with full mesh front is ideal for swimsuits or very sweaty clothing. Very durable construction.

Con: Flimsy shoulder strap and awkward carrying design when the shoulder strap is employed. When loaded down with a sweat suit, shoes and other assorted fitness paraphernalia, the bag becomes a bit boxy and, with the current design, a pain to carry utilizing the shoulder strap.

Comments: The flimsy shoulder strap aside, the Runner’s Sport Bag delivers design and performance in spades.
