Police Blotter Kootenai County sheriff

Jim Kuntz, Spokane, reported Sunday $400 damage to his boat docked at his summer home at Crescent Bay, Hayden Lake.

Gary Gibson, mechanic for Merritt Brothers Lumber Co., reported Saturday the $5,000 theft of a company ‘84 Ford pick up from the lumber yard, 5400 block of E. Highway 54.

Hazel Wickstrom reported Saturday the $3,110 theft of jewelry from her home in the 1900 block of Windy Boulevard.

Patrick Stacker, Calif., reported Friday the $3,000 theft of 15 trees from his property in the 8600 block of E. Hayden Lake Road.

Kib Campbell, 2000 block of Dodd Road, Hayden Lake, reported Friday the $428 theft of a stamp collection and clothing from her home while she was on vacation.

Dean Tibbetts and Rick McClellan reported Saturday the $645 theft of tools from their cars parked at home in the 100 block of W. Wyoming, Hayden.

Lloyd Britt, 15000 block of Grayson Way, Coeur d’Alene, reported Saturday the $2,500 theft of a snow plow from his home.

Terri Riley, purchasing manager for Northwood Enterprises, Sandpoint, reported Thursday $810 damage done to a home under construction in 29000 block of Sixth St., Athol. A $160 door and nine heater cores were also stolen.

Donald Aschinger, Post Falls, reported Thursday the $575 theft of a stereo and miscellaneous items from his boat docked on the Spokane River, near Park River Plaza.

Christopher Allan reported Sunday the $427 theft of a snow board and two CDs. He had left them at an acquaintance’s home and they refuse to return them.

Cindie Davies reported Saturday the $459 theft of food stamps from her residence in the 200 block of Emma Ave.

Vincent Carmelo III, a cook at Tomato Brothers, 221 W. Appleway, reported Sunday the $800 theft of his bicycle from the parking lot of the restaurant.

Joann Carter reported Friday the $1,850 theft of jewelry from her home in the 2600 block of 12th St.

Jennifer Mote reported Friday the $3,354 theft of her laptop computer and equipment from her home in the 3500 block of W. Fairway Drive.

Earl Koester, who works at St. Vincent DePaul, 108 E. Walnut Ave., reported Saturday the $550 theft of a stereo from a service truck parked in a fenced and locked yard there.

Harold Black, 83, reported Saturday the $6,000 theft of a man’s gold ring with 12 diamonds on it from his apartment at Camlu Apartments, 606 Best Ave.

Scott Hoskins, supervisor for GTE, reported Friday the $790 theft of a station hut for phone circuits on the corner of Dalton Ave. and Ramsey Road.

Tracy Rodgers, Washington, reported that while staying in a room at The Coeur d’Alene Resort someone stole her $400 pair of earrings.

Sandy Swank reported Friday the $1,000 theft of her brother’s truck parked at his home in the 400 block of Lauf Lane.

Wende Fiscuf, sales clerk for Sunglass Hut, Silver Lake Mall, reported Thursday the $419 theft of five pairs of Oakley sunglasses from the business.

Anthony Parks reported Friday the $700 theft of his mountain bike from a friend’s garage in the 1100 block of Indiana Ave.

Thomas Hauer, Coeur d’Alene, reported the $700 theft of skis and two radio-controlled cars from his storage unit at Coeur d’Alene MiniStorage, 3514 N. Fruitland.
