Gunman Holds Up Fast-Food Restaurant

From Staff And Wire Reports

A robber escaped with cash from a north Spokane fast-food restaurant late Tuesday, police said.

The man went inside Arby’s, 6228 N. Division, showed the clerk a blue steel handgun and demanded money.

He put the cash into a bag and left. Police wouldn’t say how much money was taken.

Officers used police dogs to track the robber but were unable to find him. He was described as white, in his 30s, about 5-foot-7 with shoulder-length blond hair in a ponytail.

The robber wore a black T-shirt with a white design on the front, dark jeans, a baseball cap and yellow-tinted sunglasses. A dark mask covered his nose and mouth.

Police have no suspects.
