Police in New Hampshire reportedly seized hundreds of photos of naked children from an English teacher at exclusive Phillips Academy who is charged with trying to lure three youngsters into his car.
David Cobb, 59, was arrested at his summer home in Gilford, N.H., on attempted kidnapping charges Wednesday and released on $100,000 bail.
The photographed children, their ages estimated at 5 to 17, were posed to make it appear they were having sex, the Boston Herald reported Friday.
It was not immediately known if any of the pictures were of Phillips Academy students, who typically enter the prep school at 14.
Police and prosecutors would not confirm the reports, and even before they appeared, Cobb called news accounts of his case “very garbled.” He refused further comment.
His lawyer said he will plead innocent.
Cobb was known as a riveting teacher with a flair for the dramatic and a penchant for disguises based on books his classes were reading. He was written up in GQ magazine earlier this year as “the natty professor.”
