Compiled From Wire Services

Boise State quarterback Tony Hilde was arrested and charged with several misdemeanors after scuffling with two police officers in a city park.

Boise police say Hilde was walking through Camels Back Park in North Boise about 1 a.m., when police asked him for some identification. He began running and an officer caught him.

He is charged with being in a park after dark, which is against a city ordinance. He also is charged with resisting and obstructing officers and with two counts of battery of an officer.
