California Company Buys 4 Radio Stations

A San Diego company is acquiring four Spokane radio stations, including two of the city’s top-rated stations.

KKZX-FM and KEYF-FM, along with KUDY-AM and KEYF-AM, are included in a 10-station, $18.5 million deal between San Diego-based Triathlon Broadcasting Co. and Pourtales Radio Partnership.

The deal also includes KEGX-FM and KTCR-AM in the Tri Cities, and four stations in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Triathlon also owns four radio stations in Wichita, Kan., and is in the process of acquiring several stations in Lincoln, Neb. , DataTimes
