Clinic Presents Tips On Making Kids’ World Safer

Fact: Injuries are the No. 1 killer of children.

More children die from physical injuries than from all diseases combined, officials state.

But, most injuries could be avoided by taking a few simple precautions.

On Wednesday, Rockwood Clinic, 400 E. Fifth, will sponsor “Safe Or Sorry: A Developmental Approach to Child Safety - O to 6 Years” in the clinic’s conference room, from 4 at 7 p.m.

Parents, child-care providers and those who often have children at their households are encouraged to attend.
