Ryan Nipp’s 22 points led five players in double figures Tuesday as Wallace (2-1) hit the century mark with a 60-point second half during a non-league win over visiting Lakeland.

Wallace had a 16-point, first-quarter lead but the Hawks (0-2) closed within three points. The Miners pulled away by shooting 50 percent from the field and 27 of 47 from the free-throw line.

Paul Kowalczyk had 10 rebounds and Ryan Banks eight for Lakeland.
