xxxx UW AT IDAHO Idaho (2-1) meets the Pac-10 Conference Huskies (2-0) at 7:05 at the dressed-up Kibbie Dome, which has a new floor, scoreboard, sound and lighting system and bleacher seating on the north side. If you’re anxious to see UI, you might plan on attending. Other than tonight, the Vandals only other home game before Jan. 16 is a Dec. 22 date with Rocky Mountain. At a glance This is a big game. Why? Because UW is rather tall with 6-foot-9 Mike Amos and 6-8 Mark Sanford starting, and 7-0 Todd MacCulloch, 7-0 Patrick Femerling and 6-9 Alex Lopez coming off the bench. Sanford, who will be defended by Harry Harrison, appears to be the key matchup for Idaho. He scored 35 points in UW’s 92-76 win over Jackson State. The Huskies put a 64-44 lump on Idaho last season in Seattle and both teams return most of their top players. “We missed easy shot after easy shot,” Cravens recalled. “Washington defended us well, but I thought we were our own worst enemy. This is a game that’s winable, but we have to do a lot of the little things to be successful.” Idaho: Reggie Rose, 16 ppg, 5.7 apg; Shawn Dirden, 18 ppg; Harry Harrison, 15.5 ppg, 14.5 rpg. Washington: Bryant Boston, 18 ppg; Mark Sanford, 24 ppg, 6 rpg. Radio: KVNI (1080 AM) Coeur d’Alene; KRPL (1400 AM) Moscow, and other stations on the Vandal network.
