Park Seeks Comment On Boat Ramp Project

Many boaters complain that Priest Lake State Park needs a new boat ramp at Indian Creek, park managers say. But when the park has sought state waterways grants to replace the dock, the grants are rejected in part because not enough people speak up for the project.

So park managers are trying again. They’d like people to comment on a plan to replace the short, shallow boat ramp with a larger one that would be located on the east side of the beachfront.
