Four Die When Car Collides With Van

Compiled From Wire Services

Four people were killed when a subcompact car collided with a van carrying a group of women home from a bingo game, authorities said.

The car, a Hyundai Accent, was so badly mangled that it took rescuers three hours to remove the bodies after the crash late Saturday.

Killed were the car’s 20-year-old driver, two passengers, 16 and 17, and a 65-year-old van passenger.
