D.J. Eberlin’s buzzer-beating three-pointer lifted St. Maries to a 45-42 overtime victory over Orofino in non-league play at Orofino on Saturday night.

Ty Konkright of St. Maries tossed in 15 points to lead all scorers. St. Maries improves to 2-2 for the year while Orofino picks up its first loss of the year to go with two wins.

Dan Montague snagged a game-high 12 rebounds and led all scorers with 15 points to pace Lakeside. The Eagles comeback was aided by 24 Logos turnovers.

Lakeside rallied from a 13-point deficit, but a pair of missed free throws with 2 seconds left in the game sealed its fate. Billy Bender’s 14 points paced the Eagles. Chris Boone added 12 points for the Cougars.
