Magruder Can Vote

Associated Press

Gov. Brereton Jones on Monday restored Watergate conspirator Jeb Stuart Magruder’s right to vote.

Magruder spent seven months in prison for trying to cover up the break-in at Democratic National Committee headquarters in 1972. The break-in and coverup led to the fall of Richard Nixon.

Magruder has been the minister at Lexington’s First Presbyterian Church for five years.
