Air Pollution Reports

A total of 21 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Dec. 5 and Dec. 9.

The most common complaint, smoke from a solid fuel burning device such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported 10 times.

Dec. 5

Odor in the area was reported at Commercial Creamery 159 S. Cedar at 2:05 p.m.

Dec. 6

Open fire was reported at 9714 E. 24th at 3:40 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 1108 N. University Road at 3:50 p.m.

Oil furnace smoke was reported at 303 E. Wellesley at 10:50 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace was reported at 3512 W. 6th at 11:55 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 13th and Bernard at 12:25 p.m.

Dec. 7

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 10205 N. Roanoke Road at 1:55 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 1103 W. Westover Road at 1:55 p.m.

Dust from tracking was reported at 2400 block of East Dalke at 3:30 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 2909 N. Maple at 8:30 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 3517 N. Addison at 8:30 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 734 W. York at 8:30 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 5124 W. Rosewood at 9:50 a.m.

Open fire was reported at 4329 S. Evergreen Road at 11:50 a.m.

Visible emissions was reported at 1400 block of South Pines Road at 1:20 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 11th and Bradley at 2:10 p.m.

Open fire was reported at Highway 27 and 44th off Blake at 2:10 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 46th and Highway 27 at 4:20 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at Market and Euclid and Garnet at 6:38 p.m.

Automobile emissions was reported at Addison and Ermina at 9:25 a.m.

Dec. 9

Open fire was reported at 9811 S. Marshall Road at 4:43 p.m.
