Although Picabo Street showed her dazzling form again, the American downhill skier was unable to overcome a bad start and finished among the also-rans in a World Cup race in St. Anton, Austria.

Katja Seizinger snapped Street’s six-race downhill winning streak.

Neither Street nor teammate Hilary Lindh finished in the top three. That hadn’t happened since the end of the 1993-94 season.

George Foreman announced he will fight Michael Moorer in a rematch at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 29.

“I will have my last boxing match right here,” Foreman, 46, said.

Soccer’s restrictions on player transfers and foreign players were declared illegal by the European Union’s highest court in what is likely the start of a free-agent era for the sport.

The court ruled players can change teams when their contracts expire without having the new team pay a fee to his old.
