Downtown Eddie Bauer Store Robbed; Sport Jackets Taken

From Staff Reports

Someone got in a little Christmas shopping early Saturday at Eddie Bauer, 215 N. Post St.

Unfortunately, the store was closed at the time.

The thief smashed a front window and made off with 12 sports jackets valued at about $130 each.

Five of the jackets were dumped in an alley near the River Park Square parking lot, but seven remain missing after the 1 a.m. heist.

Spokane police also are investigating an early Friday break-in at Minnehaha Covenant Church. The burglar broke out a small window next to the church’s front door and stole audio equipment. , DataTimes
