Actor Jimmy Stewart Home For Holidays

Jimmy Stewart went home from the hospital in time for Christmas.

Stewart, who was hospitalized for a head injury, climbed out of a gold Lexus in the driveway of his Beverly Hills home Sunday, waved to photographers and entered a side door.

“I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” the 87-yearold actor said in a statement released after he left St. John’s Hospital and Health Center.

Stewart tripped over a plant and struck his head on a table leg at his home Thursday night.
