Lectures On John Planned

Dale Bruner, a noted Scripture expert, will discuss the Gospel of John during “A Weekend of Joy” next Friday and Saturday at Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church, 312 W. Hawthorne Road.

Over the two days, Bruner will conduct a series of lectures titled, “Born Again: Studies in John 3.”

The first lecture, “Needspell,” will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

The second and third talks, “Helpspell” and “Jesus’ Godspell,” will be from 9 a.m. to noon next Saturday.

The cost of the series is $6 in advance or $8 at the door.
