Gonzaga Students Give Up Meals For Charity
Gonzaga University students participating in a fund-raising drive this week donated $4,312 to charities.
The students gave up unused meal-plan credits and asked the foodservice vendor to convert the credits to cash for the charities, university officials said.
Seventy-nine students gave $1,178 to Spokane Food Bank; 80 students gave $1,195 to Habitat for Humanity, and 74 students gave $1,939 to Children’s Miracle Network.
The donations were part of the Rock Your Thoughts Week at Gonzaga.
