Donald Williams scored four points in the second overtime as second-ranked North Carolina kept Duke winless in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 102-100 victory Thursday night at Durham, N.C.

Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace scored 25 points apiece for the Tar Heels to help North Carolina (7-1 ACC, 17-1) salvage a victory after blowing a big first-half lead.

The Blue Devils have lost their last four games to North Carolina, which hasn’t happened since 1984.

Duke also lost its fourth straight game in Cameron Indoor Stadium, which hadn’t happened since the 1976-77 season.

For the first time since 1984, Duke entered the traditional rivalry unranked.

Quinton Brooks scored a season-high 24 points and Shawn Respert added 23 as Spartans beat the Nittany Lions at East Lansing, Mich.

The Spartans remained atop the Big Ten with a 7-1 record and improved their overall mark to 15-2 with their sixth straight victory. Penn State fell to 4-4, 12-5.
