Fall Kills Honeymooner

From Staff And Wire Reports

A woman on her honeymoon died when she fell 100 feet from the top of a waterfall, police said.

Tracy Foster, 25, of Bellevue, Wash., was trying to take a photograph looking down a waterfall off the Hana Highway near Keanae when she lost her balance and fell Thursday, police said.

A rescue crew recovered the body from a pool at the base of the falls. Foster was pronounced dead at Hana Medical Center after being airlifted to a waiting ambulance.

Foster and her husband, Jerry, were en route to Hana from their hotel at the time, police said.
