Brawl Leaves 3 Teenagers Dead

Compiled From Wire Services

Three teenagers were shot to death early Saturday in a fight that started outside a nightclub, spilled over to a convenience store and ended in a hospital emergency room.

Tyrone Durden, 18, was shot several times in a car at a Walton County convenience store about 40 miles east of Atlanta, sheriff’s officials said.

Several friends, including Durden’s cousin, Mario Colquit, 19, took him to the county medical center.

As doctors tried to save Durden’s life, 17-year-old Michael Barrett came into the emergency room and got into a fight with Colquit, witnesses said.

Both were shot in the struggle. Durden, Colquit and Barrett died.

The dispute began about 3:15 a.m. at a nightclub, the sheriff’s department said.
