Lloyd Bentsen Joins D.C. Law Firm

Lloyd Bentsen, who resigned as treasury secretary in December, has joined a Washington law firm with offices in Texas.

Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand made the announcement Monday. Bentsen will be based in the Houston office, dividing his time between Washington and Texas.

Bentsen served 22 years in the Senate and six in the House.
