`Doughboy’ Dealer Sentenced

From Staff And Wire Reports

Confessed cocaine dealer Steven Wynne, described as a street-level supplier in “Operation Doughboy,” was sentenced Wednesday to 18 months in prison.

Wynne, 44, of E12210 Maxwell, previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute more than 100 grams of cocaine.

As part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, a conspiracy count against him was dismissed.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Tom Rice said Wynne distributed cocaine he got from Doughboy kingpin James Larsen.

U.S. District Judge Frem Nielsen also imposed a $1,000 fine on Wynne and ordered him to serve three years of supervised release after his release from prison.
