Post Falls Students Suspended For Drugs

From Staff And Wire Reports

Three Post Falls High School students have been suspended from school within the last week after they were caught with drugs and a marijuana pipe.

Post Falls Police officer Dan Brown cited two of the three teenage boys for misdemeanor drug possession. The third youth was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

One of the students also was cited for selling a girl a bag of oregano and telling her it was marijuana.

The teens ranged in age from 15 to 17 years old. One was cited last Thursday and two were cited Monday, said Officer Brown.

Since the beginning of the school year, Brown has been assigned solely to Post Falls High School. He said he was able to catch the students with the drugs after other students approached him and told him what they’d seen.

The two youths caught with the drugs were suspended for five days, while the student caught with a marijuana pipe was suspended for three days, Brown said.
