Skylar Jessen Dami, 7, of Spokane, finished third in the 50cc class for 0-8-year-olds at the Invitational AMA Supercross Series last weekend in Seattle.

Dami, who has been racing motorcycles since he was 5, grabbed the lead by the first corner and held it for four laps. But on the last lap, he took too much air on a jump, flipped the bike and went down as two riders passed him.
