Spokane Bank Robbed

Wed., Feb. 15, 1995

A man wearing a brightly-colored jacket robbed a Spokane bank Tuesday, police said.

The robber walked into the U.S. Bank, N3909 Lincoln, at 2 p.m., handed a teller a note demanding money and laid his stainless-steel, short-barreled revolver on the counter, Spokane Police Sgt. Judi Carl said.

The teller gave him some money and he fled on foot, Carl said. Authorities wouldn’t say how much money he took.

The robber is described as a white man in his 50s, about 6-feet tall, 170 pounds, with graying blond hair and a mustache, Carl said.

He wore a red stocking cap, jeans and a quilted pink, yellow, blue and red jacket, she said.
