Boston musician Dean Stevens will perform a benefit concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, W4340 Fort George Wright Drive.
The concert is sponsored by the Peace and Justice Action League and the Central American Committee of the Unitarian-Universalist Church; proceeds will go toward medical and educational materials for the village of Ita-Maura, El Salvador.
Stevens was raised in Costa Rica. His guitar music reflects his familiarity with Spanish and South American culture. His latest recording, “Eyes of Wonder,” is his fourth.
Tickets for the performance cost $8, $5 for students.
