Crowded Conditions At Schools To Be Topic

Compiled From Wire Services

The second in a series of three public meetings on Post Falls School District’s space crunch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today at Seltice Elementary School.

Because of crowded conditions in the elementary schools, the district is considering turning half of the former Frederick Post Elementary School into a kindergarten center.

Other options to free up space is to purchase more portable classrooms, or move the sixth grade to Frederick Post.

The Board of Trustees is scheduled to discuss the proposals at its March 13 meeting.
