Officers arrested two Cataldo, Idaho, men Tuesday night after officers found 149 marijuana plants in their home, according to police officials.
Members of the Kootenai County Drug Task Force arrested Michael Capps, 43, and Richard Wilson, 60, at their home on South Poplar Drive, said Coeur d’Alene Police Capt. Carl Bergh. On Wednesday, the two men were charged with felony drug trafficking.
Bergh said a citizen tipped off the drug task force a couple of days ago. Officers then got a search warrant to investigate the home that sits on about 20 acres.
Investigators from the task force and the Idaho Bureau of Narcotics found 149 plants, ranging from new growth to four feet tall. Bergh estimated the marijuana plants were worth about $100,000.
