Waterfall To Play Street Music

The songs on Linda Waterfall’s new album “Flying Time” speak of human relationships - men and women - and relationships with nature.

The accomplished folk singer plays in-store at Street Music tonight.

“Flying Time” is an excellent album, lush with insightful lyrics, warm and rootsy guitar work, rich, passionate vocals and a Northwest style of moodiness.

Waterfall has been pursuing a career as a folk songstress since she graduated from Stanford University in the mid-‘70s.

Her albums include 1977’s “Mary’s Garden,” 1979’s award-winning “My Heart Sings,” 1981’s “Bananaland,” 1987’s “Body English” and 1991’s “A little Bit at a Time.”

Because the 8 p.m. concert will take place within the store, seating is limited.

General admission tickets are available at Street Music for $7, $6 for Folklore Society members, $5 for students and children. All tickets prices will be $2 more if purchased at the door.
